Shree Vishnu Mandir is proud to align with the City of Ekurhuleni’s vision for faith-based community upliftment. As a registered place of worship, we are committed to transparency, good governance, and partnership with Council initiatives that serve our people.
Community Feeding Partnership
In partnership with The Sayuri Foundation
Through a new strategic alignment in 2026, Shree Vishnu Mandir partnered with The Sayuri Foundation to expand our community feeding program.
Together we now provide over 500 nutritious meals every week to vulnerable families across Johannesburg. The Sayuri Foundation has been feeding the community weekly for a number of years, and this partnership allows us to combine resources, reach and impact.

Why This Matters for Council
This partnership demonstrates:
Scale – 500+ meals weekly using existing infrastructure
Sustainability – Temple resources linked with an established Foundation
Impact – Direct service to communities Council already serves

We welcome Council engagement and are open to expanding this model across other wards.
