Supporting Ekurhuleni – Local Service
Devotion to City Council
Shree Vishnu Mandir is proud to align with the City of Ekurhuleni’s vision for faith-based community upliftment. As a registered place of worship, we are committed to transparency, good governance, and partnership with Council initiatives that serve our people.
Community Partnership
In partnership with The Sayuri Foundation
Through a new strategic alignment in 2026, Shree Vishnu Mandir partnered with the Edenvale Hindu Centre. Together, this partnership allows us to align our interests, combine our resources, reach and impact.
Our Hindu community is built on dignity, care, and connection. By working together, we strengthen support, create meaningful impact, and ensure that every person feels valued and included.
Why This Matters for Council
This partnership demonstrates:
Scale – Inviting partners to work with us helps us serve the community better.
Sustainability – Temple resources linked with an established Foundation
Impact – Direct service to communities Council already serves
Governance – Faith + NPO collaboration, fully aligned and documented
We welcome Council engagement and are open to expanding this model across other wards.
